History and Vision for the Future

Phil Belchar of Littleton, Colorado designed the STOS broadhead and began production in 1998.  Phil designed a tough, heavier, cut-on-contact head that was longer than the heads that were available for traditional archers.

In October of 2007 Todd Martin of Canyon, Texas bought the company from Phil. Todd’s view is “if it ain't broke don’t fix it” and that certainly applies to the current STOS line.

Future plans include adding Teflon coating and a heavier, single-left-bevel head to the STOS line.
